Technical Associate

Responsibilities

  • Perform repair and replacement of defective LED components, including SMD/DIP bulbs and related parts.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) activities and ensure completion of maintenance reports.
  • Provide timely phone and field technical support within the required SLA.
  • Monitor and report daily project activities, updates, and technical concerns.
  • Escalate major technical issues immediately to management or concerned departments.
  • Prepare accurate technical reports, service documentation, and project status updates.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and service quality.
  • Perform corrective maintenance (CM) activities and ensure issues are resolved with zero back jobs or re-repairs.
  • Ensure proper handling, testing, and troubleshooting of LED products and equipment.
  • Participate in technical training, self-assessment, and skills enhancement programs.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of technical concerns.
  • Support overall technical operations and perform other tasks assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, IT, or any related technical course.
  • With experience in LED systems, electronics repair, maintenance, or technical support is an advantage.
  • Knowledgeable in preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of electronic/LED components
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiar with field and phone support handling within SLA requirements.
  • Proficient in preparing technical reports and maintenance documentation.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Willing to do field work, client visits, and technical support assignments.
  • Willing to participate in technical trainings and continuous learning programs.
